Asia's First to Pass the European Crash Cushion Standard!
*Shindo Industry’s independently developed cushion tank systems CCS110, CCS100, CCS80 and CCS50 have passed the requirements of the European standard EN1317-3 impact testing system. Shindo is not only Korea’s first, but also Asia’s first to pass the tight European standard for Vehicle Restraint Systems (VRS).
Shindo’s impact attenuator product has passed the standards of the Korean Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs as well as China’s Ministry of Transportation and the European impact testing standard.
*The European Standard EN1317-3 is approved by the Comite Europeen de Normalization (CEN), Europe’s committee of standardization which includes the following nations: UK, Sweden, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, etc.
*So far, the performance and technology of Shindo’s impact attenuators have been acknowledged at international exhibitions such as the Intertraffic Amsterdam, Intertraffic Beijing, GulfTraffic, ROTEX, Roadex-Railex etc. Shindo’s products are widely used in Korea and are also exported to the Middle East, Asia, etc. Through the recent acceptance of the European standard, we anticipate further demand in 27 European countries, Australia, etc.
